Haha yes we have 'stairs going up.' And since we have a skinny house there are two sets of stairs up to my office, so this process of sending things up happens twice. I think I learned this in my childhood- in addition to blobs of stuff on the stairs the mail was sorted in the balusters to also travel upwards (bills were paid from my dad's office on the second floor).
I finally invested in rechargeable AA and AAA batteries so I *always* have them and, worst case, they'll be ready in an hour or so. (Also, got a scale that is rechargeable because, not only am I over buying batteries, I'm tired of changing them, too.) Congrats on getting shit done, Anna. xo
Yes. Robert's son-in-law ordered him an elaborate electric shaver. It has directions for assembly (why would a razor need assembly anyway?) in five languages, all in tiny tiny print. The pieces will sit on the counter until I am fortified to take a stab at it. Meanwhile, Robert looks just fine in his beard.

Its tricky going up the stairs due to the piles but also going down as I have to go sideways to fit by where the piles of items are! 😂
